VPA, Inc. To Provide Yahoo!’s Internal
Disability Plan

Calabasas, California – VPA, Inc. a national leader in self-insured
disability administration, today announced a new service agreement with Yahoo!,
a leading global Internet commerce, communications and media company, to
administer a self-insured short-term disability plan and private California
state disability program for Yahoo! employees.
Under the terms of the agreement, VPA is
providing disability case management, claims payment services, and claim intake
and inquiry in a complete outsourced solution using IVR and Web technologies.
In setting up the California state plan, Yahoo! and VPA pioneered the first 100
percent electronic enrollment of a private state disability plan.
