The combined product features integration of leave requests in combination with VPA's award-winning disability management prossess.

     The Family Medical Leave Act mandates that qualifying companies end up to 12 weeks of unpaid leave and up to 12 months of ongoing health coverage to employees who experience a medically-related absence, such as birth, adoption, care of a parent, child or souce, or a serious illness or accident.

     VPA merges the FMLA leave request process with the intake and administration of short-term disability claims. This coordination helps to expedite the FMLA application and approval process. Additionally, VPA provides participating employers with leave activity reports that enable better forecasting of lost-time projections by showing time used, time available and expected end of leave data.
