VPA, Inc. Streamlines Organization to Increase Responsiveness

Calabasas, California - VPA, Inc., the leading independent absence and disability management expert, announced on February 6, 2006 changes in its organization structure to better care for its client companies and their employees.

     The main change streamlines seven functional areas into three - Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Administration to increase accountability and coordination. Previously separate departments such as Intake, Disability/Leave Operations, and Customer Service will report through one operating structure.

     "Our mission is to provide expert leave and disability solutions to the workforce challenges of our clients and their employees. This restructuring will enhance our effectiveness in response to client needs, facilitate communications and move us closer to becoming the recognized service expert in absence and disability management," said John Gernert, President, Chief Executive Officer, who will oversee all three areas.
     Julie Santen, VP of Operations will lead Operations (Claims Operations, Customer Service, Client Support Services, Business Resources Support and Operations Technical Support). Bob Trotta, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing will guide Sales & Marketing (which will now include Client Relations, Account Management, and Analytics). John Koval, VP of Administration will manage Administration (IT, HR, Finance and Organizational Development).
     VPA Account Managers and others will be calling and visiting their clients in the next couple of weeks to inform them about the new organization.
